Q. What are the directions to the house?

A.  Enter into Sayulita on Calle Revolucion, once you get the plaza make a right on Calle Marlin, make your next left at Calle Navarrete and then a right on Calle Pescadores, follow the road along the beach and past the fishing boats and then eventually past the grave yard.  You will pass Villa Amor on the left side of the road.

Once you arrive to the grave yard keep following the road and it will be your first right hand turn on a dirt road, Villa Pelicanos is on your right had side, first driveway on the right up the cobblestone hill.  It is above Playa Los Muertos.

Q.  What do I do about cash while I'm there?  

A. You're best bet is to use an ATM at the airport when you land to get pesos.  You can use dollars in town, but you will be better off with exchange rates to pay in Pesos.  There are also ATM’s in town.  Many boutiques and a few restaurants take credit cards, but most restaurants and bars are cash only.

Q. Does the house have a safe for any valuable items?

A. Each casita has its own safe that can accommodate laptops and cell phones, and more.  There are instructions of how to program the safes with your own code.

Q. What is the cost of chef services?

COST IS 2000 pesos per day (3 meals), plus the cost of food.

A.  You can choose from the following options for dinner:

Chiles Rellenos With red rice, guacamole, Mexican salsa and corn tortillas, green salad

Chicken BBQ With red rice, guacamole, vegetables, Mexicana salsa, corn tortillas.

Fajitas Chicken or Shrimp With red rice, beans, guacamole, Mexican salsa, green salad

Fish Taco (Mahi-Mahi or fresh catch of the day) With corn tortillas, Mexican salsa, Guacamole, and pineapple sauce, green salad

Quesadillas cheese With white rice, Mexican salsa, Guacamole and corn tortillas, green salad

Chicken mole With red rice, guacamole and Mexican salsa, corn tortillas, green salad

Fish or Shrimp Ceviche With tostadas, mixed vegetables with fish or shrimp, green salad

Shrimp or Carne Asada With white rice, vegetables, guacamole, Mexican salsa, tortillas, green salad

Q. What is the weather like?

A.  November, March, April it is warm but comfortable (low 80s in the day, 60s at night). It is usually warm in the winter (75-80°) though it can be chilly at night in January. July - October is the rainy season and days are hot and humid (85-90°, sleep with fans and or AC).  The roads to the house can often be washed out during the summer months, so 4x4 vehicles are required and walking to town can be a fun adventure.

Q. How much do we tip the staff?

A.  Mariana and Javier are the live-onsite property managers.  They take pride in keeping the property a beautiful place.  It is appreciated to leave a tip for them if you have enjoyed your stay and service. Generally $20 per person is customary for a weeks stay.

Q. Airport Transportation?

A.  Round trip Airport Transportation costs $150 US per Suburban.  Each ride accommodates 6 people.  Larger vans can be requested as well.
